DrFirst Acquires Myndshft Technologies

FFL Partners Completes Strategic Investment in Medicus IT

San Francisco-based private equity firm FFL Partners has completed an investment to acquire Medicus IT, a healthcare-focused IT managed services provider previously backed by 424 Capital. Medicus IT, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, serves over 6,500 healthcare providers with ~300 employees across 30+ states and will partner with FFL to accelerate organic and inorganic growth and expand its mCare services platform; financial terms were not disclosed.

SOC Telemed Acquires Access Physicians

The deal creates the largest pure-play acute care telemedicine company in the U.S., expanding clinical service lines and national reach to nearly 1,000 facilities (including over 700 hospitals) across 47 states and producing an estimated pro forma 2021 revenue of $107–$113 million.
