Rockville, Maryland-based healthcare technology company DrFirst has acquired select assets of Indianapolis-based Diagnotes to integrate Diagnotes' secure messaging and care coordination capabilities into DrFirst's Backline platform. The deal is intended to expand Backline's clinical communication functionality, improve cross-system clinician collaboration, and accelerate time-to-market for combined solutions.
