Baton Rouge-based General Informatics has acquired Charlotte-based managed services provider Versiant, expanding its geographic footprint into the Carolinas and broadening its capabilities in data analytics and security. The deal is an add-on to General Informatics (a portfolio company of Rosewood Private Investments); Versiant CEO Edward Reade will join General Informatics as a senior vice president and regional manager while other principals are retiring.

Naviant Acquires Amitech Solutions

Versa Integrity Group Acquires Avion Solutions' Commercial UAS Operations

Versa Integrity Group, a Dorilton Capital-backed industrial inspection services platform, has acquired the commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems operations ("Avion Commercial") of Avion Solutions. Avion Commercial — based in Huntsville, Alabama — provides drone imagery, inspection, data collection, and training services; Avion Solutions will retain its government services business. The deal expands Versa's non-destructive testing and inspection capabilities by adding unmanned aerial inspection services.

Avesi Partners Invests in Visante

Accenture Acquires Navisite

Accenture has completed the acquisition of Navisite, a cloud-focused digital transformation and managed services provider, from Madison Dearborn Partners. The deal adds approximately 1,500 people and strengthens Accenture's application and infrastructure managed services and cloud engineering capabilities to help clients accelerate cloud transformations.
