Point Health, an Austin-based digital health startup, has acquired The Karis Group, a 25-year-old healthcare navigation and bill negotiation firm, to combine pricing data and patient advocacy with Point Health’s product and UX capabilities. The companies will merge under the Point Health brand and build a digital-first healthcare navigation platform and marketplace targeting insurers, employers, third-party administrators, and health cost-sharing communities.
