Nita Inc., a Canadian labeling-systems manufacturer, has acquired Shorewood Engineering LLC, a Minnesota-based rotary labeler manufacturer founded in 1988. The deal adds Shorewood's rotary labeler capabilities to Nita's inline labeling product line; Shorewood's founder Jason Good will remain as President and retain a significant stake in the business.

The acquisition expands Fortis's geographic footprint and product capabilities across consumer products, food & beverage, and health & beauty end markets.
