SUEZ recycling and recovery UK Acquires DCW (Devon Contract Waste)

SUEZ recycling and recovery UK has acquired DCW (Devon Contract Waste), a regional recycling and waste management company serving Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The deal brings DCW's 86 staff, 37-truck fleet, three depots and an Exeter transfer/sorting operation into SUEZ's UK operations, expanding the group's collection and recycling capabilities in the south west of England.

Casella Waste Systems Acquires Royal Carting and Welsh Sanitation

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Royal Carting and Welsh Sanitation, including related real estate assets. The transaction (expected to close in Q4 subject to customary conditions) adds two collection operations and two transfer stations in New York's Hudson Valley and western Connecticut, and is expected to generate over $90 million in annualized revenues while expanding Casella's regional footprint.

CRC Group Acquires W. Brown & Associates Property & Casualty

CRC Group has completed the acquisition of W. Brown & Associates Property & Casualty, a surplus lines broker and managing general agent based in Irvine, California. The deal expands CRC's brokerage and binding capabilities—adding a physical California binding office—and gives W. Brown access to CRC markets, exclusive products and the REDY data and analytics platform; terms were not disclosed.
