JobGet, the Boston-based app-first hiring platform, has acquired Wirkn, a Montreal-founded recruiting platform focused on mall, retail and restaurant hiring. The deal (closed May 24) brings Wirkn’s network of more than 17,000 mall, retail and restaurant locations and its ATS capabilities into JobGet’s frontline-hiring ecosystem; Wirkn’s CEO will remain as an advisor and the brand will continue for the foreseeable future. Terms were not disclosed.

Actief Werkt! Acquires Prima Personeel

Actief Werkt! has acquired Prima Personeel, a specialist temporary staffing agency focused on skilled trades. The deal expands Actief Werkt!'s national branch network and service offering, giving the combined group greater scale in the Dutch temporary staffing market; the transaction was subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).

MatchWorks Acquires Get Work's HR and Temporary Employment Business

Netherlands-based HR services provider MatchWorks has acquired the temporary employment and HR activities of Get Work. Get Work will retain its name and identity, with director Sytze Bril remaining involved; MatchWorks said the deal strengthens its regional HR position and creates an organisation supporting roughly 895 people, 138 SME clients and about 18 national customers. Terms were not disclosed.

Prometheus Group Acquires WorkTech

Prometheus Group, a Raleigh-based provider of asset management and optimization software, has acquired WorkTech, a Cambridge, Massachusetts provider of contractor management and workforce productivity software. The acquisition will integrate WorkTech's contractor tracking, approvals and payment capabilities into Prometheus's STO and EAM platform to improve shutdown/turnaround planning and contractor cost visibility.
