Rambus to Acquire Hardent

Rambus signed an agreement to acquire Hardent, a SoC digital/electronic design company, to strengthen its CXL (Compute Express Link) Memory Interconnect Initiative for next-generation data centers. The acquisition is intended to accelerate Rambus’s CXL processing roadmap and expand its silicon IP and design capabilities, including for automotive and consumer electronics applications.
