VMG Health, a Dallas-based healthcare valuation and transaction advisory firm and portfolio company of Northlane Capital Partners, has acquired RR Health Strategies, LLC, a Hauppauge, New York-based medical coding, compliance, and operational excellence consulting firm. The RRHS team, led by President Pam D'Apuzzo, will lead VMG Health's new Coding, Compliance, and Operational Excellence service line to expand the firm's compliance-driven offerings and support clients across health systems, law firms, CPAs, billing vendors, PE firms, and healthcare practices.

Healthgrades Acquires Evariant

Evariant shareholders retain a minority stake and a board representative; financing for the transaction was provided by CRG, L.P. and CIBC Bank USA. Advisory firms on the deal included MTS Health Partners and Piper Sandler (financial) and Kirkland & Ellis and Goodwin Procter (legal).

Denver-based Healthgrades acquired Birmingham, Alabama-based Influence Health to expand its CRM and digital marketing offerings for healthcare customers. The deal (announced Jan. 8, 2019) adds Influence’s technology and customers—bringing the combined company to roughly 1,500 customers—and increases Healthgrades’ workforce while keeping the combined headquarters in Denver.
