Sage Group to Acquire Lockstep

The Sage Group plc agreed to acquire Lockstep, a cloud-native provider of “connected accounting” that automates accounting workflows between companies. The deal expands Sage’s digital network for small and mid-sized businesses by adding Lockstep’s API platform and workflow automation capabilities, with Lockstep’s management team joining Sage to support the growth initiative.
