AMPCO METAL S.A., a global maker of copper-based alloys, has acquired Switzerland-based Schmelzmetall Group, a producer of high-performance copper alloys and metal powders. The acquisition expands AMPCO METAL’s capabilities in additive manufacturing, vacuum-cast alloys and other specialized copper materials to better serve aerospace, defense and advanced manufacturing customers.

Kloeckner Metals Acquires Industrial Manufacturing Services

Klöckner & Co, through its U.S. subsidiary Kloeckner Metals Corporation (KMC), has acquired Industrial Manufacturing Services (IMS), a Lancaster, South Carolina-based metal fabricator. IMS, which operates a single facility with about 100 employees and annual sales around USD 30 million, will expand KMC’s fabrication, welding and just-in-time warehousing capabilities across North America; financial terms were not disclosed.

Mueller Industries Acquires Bison Metals Technologies LLC

Mueller Industries, Inc. acquired Bison Metals Technologies LLC, a U.S. manufacturer of copper tubes with its sole manufacturing facility in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The acquisition is expected to expand Mueller’s domestic copper tube production capacity and improve its ability to supply critical feedstock for its value-added products while reducing tariff-related costs from foreign-produced inputs.

Tide Rock Holdings Acquires CableMaster Corp.
