HaystackID announced it has acquired AI legal technology company eDiscovery AI to accelerate client-driven GenAI workflows for legal, compliance, regulatory, and cybersecurity matters. The acquisition builds on an existing collaboration, integrates eDiscovery AI technology into HaystackID’s core AI offerings, and the companies will operate eDiscovery AI as a separate business entity to support client flexibility; financial terms were not disclosed.

IBM Acquires Seek AI

IBM has acquired Seek AI, a New York–based startup that provides a natural-language AI platform for querying and analyzing enterprise data, for an undisclosed sum. Seek AI will join IBM’s new Watsonx AI Labs in New York City and relocate its headquarters to One Madison, with the technology integrated into IBM’s enterprise AI offerings to accelerate its AI capabilities.

Tecnotree Acquires CognitiveScale

Tecnotree Corporation (Espoo, Finland) has agreed to acquire CognitiveScale, an Austin-based AI engineering platform provider, to expand Tecnotree's AI/ML capabilities and accelerate 5G use-case monetization in North America. The deal is expected to contribute roughly EUR 5 million of ARR in 2023 and is subject to customary conditions, with closing expected in 2022.
