SoftBank Group Corp. announced it will acquire Ampere Computing in an all-cash deal valued at $6.5 billion. Ampere will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of SoftBank and retain its name, with the transaction expected to close in the second half of 2025 subject to regulatory approvals.
