Flutterwave has acquired Mono, a Lagos-based open banking infrastructure provider, to deepen its bank-based and authenticated payment capabilities across African markets. Mono will continue to operate independently while its APIs for financial data access, identity verification, and account-to-account payments are integrated into Flutterwave's payments ecosystem to improve onboarding, reduce fraud, and enable richer bank-enabled payment flows.

MidOcean Partners Acquires SI Solutions

MidOcean Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired SI Solutions, a provider of engineering, testing, inspection, compliance, maintenance and digital solutions for power and critical infrastructure. SI Solutions (more than 450 employees) will remain led by CEO Mark Marano; management, employee shareholders and prior investor Jumana Capital have reinvested in the business. Terms were not disclosed.

Montrose Environmental Group Acquires Matrix Solutions Inc.

Montrose Environmental Group entered into an arrangement agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Matrix Solutions Inc., a leading Canadian environmental and engineering consulting firm. The acquisition will establish Montrose's consulting platform in Canada and expand its ability to serve clients across environmental engineering and services; the deal is expected to close in Q2 2023 and terms were not disclosed.

Sequoia Consulting Group Acquires 42 North Solutions

The add-on expands Sequoia's East Coast presence, strengthens facilities management capabilities, and adds depth to its process, automation, and project engineering offerings; financial terms were not disclosed.
