Tarter USA announced it is acquiring Vail Products, a heavy-duty construction and land management attachments brand and division of Hammersmith Manufacturing and Sales, Inc. The acquisition expands Tarter’s heavy-duty equipment portfolio and supports its “Back 40 to Backyard” strategy across farm, ranch, rural lifestyle, construction, forestry, agriculture, equipment rental, and land management markets.

The Toro Company Acquires Venture Products (Ventrac)

The Toro Company has agreed to acquire Venture Products, Inc., the manufacturer of Ventrac-branded turf, landscape and snow-management equipment, for $167.5 million in cash. The deal, expected to close before the end of Toro's fiscal 2020 second quarter, expands Toro's professional product offering and is expected to be financed under Toro's existing revolving credit facility; Ventrac reported approximately $100 million in net sales for calendar year 2019.
