Clean Harbors Acquires Terra Nova Solutions for $225 Million

Clean Harbors, Inc. announced the all-cash $225 million acquisition of Terra Nova Solutions, a regional provider of hazardous and non-hazardous waste services. The deal adds five operating sites and complementary capabilities (including wastewater treatment, solidification, drum collection, tank cleaning, and vacuum services) to expand Clean Harbors’ Technical Services and Field Services footprint across the Carolinas.

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Acquires NSL Analytical Services

NSL, a Cleveland-based materials testing and analytical laboratory serving aerospace, advanced materials and electronics markets, will partner with LLCP and management to expand testing capabilities and geographic footprint; financial terms were not disclosed.

Alliance Technical Group Acquires Four Environmental Laboratories Nationwide

Alliance Technical Group, a Morgan Stanley Capital Partners–backed environmental testing and services platform, has acquired four independent environmental laboratories — Summit Environmental Technologies (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), Fremont Analytical (Seattle, WA), Orange Coast Analytical (Los Angeles, CA / Phoenix, AZ) and CHESTER LabNet (Portland, OR) — to build a nationwide laboratory network. The add-on deals expand Alliance's capabilities beyond air testing into water, hazardous waste, soil and PFAS/XRF analyses and broaden its geographic coverage across the United States.

Pace Analytical Services Acquires Alpha Analytical, LLC

The deal expands Pace's geographic footprint and laboratory capabilities in the Northeast, adding multiple labs and service centers and strengthening testing services for emerging contaminants such as PFAS.

NVM Private Equity Invests £10M in YorkTest Laboratories
