Burnsville-based The Cottages Group, a family-owned provider of residential and in-home services, has acquired Rochester-based Cardinal of Minnesota as longtime CEO Jack Priggen retires. The deal more than doubles The Cottages Group's Minnesota footprint and expands its combined workforce to roughly 700 employees across multiple residential care locations.
