TJC LP closed a $2.1 billion continuation fund that purchased five portfolio companies, including assets from The Resolute Fund III and one asset jointly owned with Resolute IV. The transaction was led by AlpInvest (a Carlyle subsidiary) and gives TJC and its portfolio companies additional capital and time to pursue growth while offering liquidity options to Resolute III and Resolute IV limited partners.

Sunny Sky Products Acquires Bevolution Group from Highlander Partners

Sunny Sky Products, a portfolio company of TJC, has completed the acquisition of LX/JT Holdings Inc and subsidiaries (doing business as Bevolution Group) from Highlander Partners. The transaction adds Bevolution’s clean-label smoothie bases, cocktail mixes and concentrates and its three U.S. manufacturing sites to Sunny Sky’s beverage platform, expanding product offerings and manufacturing capabilities for the foodservice and convenience-store channels.

The Jordan Company Acquires Spectrio from Bertram Capital

An affiliate of The Jordan Company, via Resolute Fund IV, has acquired Spectrio, a Tampa/Oldsmar-based provider of digital signage, content management and customer engagement solutions, from affiliates of Bertram Capital. Bertram Capital will retain a minority equity stake and Spectrio’s existing management team will continue to lead the business; financial terms were not disclosed.
