Thrust Capital Partners (TCP), a Canadian aerospace and defense-focused private equity firm, has acquired Alphacasting Inc., a Quebec-based precision titanium and aluminium investment casting company serving aerospace and defense customers. Alphacasting will be led by Louis Marc Pinard as CEO, with Frederik Centazzo remaining in a senior commercial role.

Palm Ventures Affiliate Acquires AeroFarms to Expand Distribution and Growth

AeroFarms, a U.S. indoor vertical farming company and leading supplier of fresh microgreens, was acquired by an affiliate of Palm Ventures. The deal closed in April 2026; financial terms were not disclosed. Palm Ventures’ investment is intended to expand distribution and improve AeroFarms’ long-term growth and profitability by significantly reducing debt, with Gustavo Burger appointed CEO to lead the new management team.

Vance Street Capital Invests in Aero Group Holdings (Tempest Aero Group)

Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital has invested in Aero Group Holdings LLC, which operates Tempest Aero Group, a Burlington, North Carolina-based portfolio of FAA-PMA brands that design and manufacture replacement components for the general aviation market. Founders Tim Henderson and Mike Allen retain meaningful ownership, and Mike Allen will continue as CEO; financial terms were not disclosed.

Crown Capital Investments Acquires Aero Mist, Inc.

The transaction will support Aero Turbine's expansion of engine and aircraft component capabilities and serve as a cornerstone investment as Gallant seeks to build a broader aerospace platform while Aero Turbine's founder, Doug Clayton, remains in leadership.
