Topspin Consumer Partners, a New York-based private equity firm focused on consumer brands, has acquired the consumer products division of Three Dog Bakery (Three Dog Brands, LLC), the Kansas City-based maker of humanized dog treats. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) transfers the branded, retail-focused pet treats business to Topspin while Three Dog Bakery's management team will continue to lead the business under Topspin's ownership.
