Truespeed Communications and Freedom Fibre have signed an agreement to combine their businesses, creating a scaled, capital-efficient full-fibre platform aimed at leading UK altnet consolidation. The combined entity will serve 412,000 premises and 70,000 customers across the North West, West Midlands, South West and East of England, pairing Truespeed’s retail capability with Freedom Fibre’s open-access wholesale platform.
