Broad Sky Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired Commonwealth Electrical Technologies (CET), an electrical contractor and energy solutions provider headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts. The investment will support CET’s growth plans, including geographic expansion, expanded service offerings (solar, EV charging, energy efficiency) and strategic M&A, while backing investment in recruitment and training.

Eaglestone (Aterian) Acquires Commonwealth Electrical Technologies

Eaglestone, LLC, a portfolio company of Aterian Investment Partners, has acquired Commonwealth Electrical Technologies (CET) of Worcester, Massachusetts. Capstone Partners advised CET on the transaction; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands Eaglestone's MEP capabilities and Northeast commercial relationships, adding CET's expertise in electrical contracting, solar, energy-efficiency and EV charging services.

NuWave Solutions Acquires BigBear Inc.

NuWave Solutions has acquired BigBear Inc., a San Diego–based provider of cloud-based big data analytics, AI and geospatial solutions for the U.S. national security community. The acquisition — NuWave's first since being acquired by private equity firm AE Industrial Partners earlier in 2020 — expands NuWave's data analytics, AI and cloud capabilities to better serve federal defense and intelligence customers. Terms were not disclosed.

Quantum Surgical Acquires NeuWave Medical

Quantum Surgical has acquired NeuWave Medical and combined both businesses under a newly created parent, Precision IO Group Inc., to expand a robotic-assisted tumor ablation platform. The deal is supported by investment from Ally Bridge Group and aims to integrate Quantum Surgical's Epione robotic system with NeuWave's microwave ablation technology to broaden access to minimally invasive interventional oncology care.
