GFL Environmental Services, the newly spun-off environmental services division controlled by Apollo Global Management and BC Partners, has acquired OSI Environmental, a Minnesota-based hazardous and non-hazardous waste services provider. The add-on expands GFL Environmental Services' footprint across the Midwest and adds capabilities such as used-oil recycling, roll-off services and emergency spill response to its platform.

GFL Environmental Acquires Fielding Environmental

GFL Environmental Inc. has acquired Fielding Environmental, a Mississauga-based provider of liquid waste, gas processing, recycling and hazardous waste disposal services. Terms were not disclosed; GFL said the deal adds specialized processing capabilities and a Part B hazardous waste permit, creating cross-selling and internalization opportunities within its North American environmental services network.

GFL Environmental Acquires Sprint Waste Services, LP

GFL Environmental Inc. has acquired Sprint Waste Services, LP, a vertically integrated waste management provider headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas. Terms were not disclosed; the acquisition expands GFL's solid waste footprint in the Southern United States and adds Sprint’s network of 16 sites, two C&D landfills, a fleet of over 400 vehicles and ~8,000 rental containers.

GFL Environmental Acquires Terrapure Environmental's Solid Waste and Environmental Solutions Business for C$927.5M

GFL Environmental Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the solid waste and environmental solutions business of Terrapure Environmental Ltd. and its subsidiaries for an aggregate purchase price of C$927.5 million (excluding Terrapure's battery recycling business). The acquired operations serve more than 7,000 customers across Canada, operate an integrated network of assets (including the Stoney Creek landfill), generated ~C$365 million of revenue in 2020 and employ approximately 1,600 people; GFL expects meaningful synergies and expanded regional capabilities.

Plummer Associates Acquires WATERMARK Engineering Group

Fort Worth-based Plummer Associates, Inc. has acquired Tampa-area WATERMARK Engineering Group to expand its integrated water resources engineering presence in Florida. The deal adds WATERMARK’s 18 years of local water-management experience to Plummer’s national platform and supports Plummer’s continued geographic growth and expanded capability in stormwater, coastal and water/wastewater infrastructure services.
