Vertu Capital, a Canadian private equity firm, has acquired ActiveState Software Inc., a Vancouver-based provider of a secure open-source integration platform for enterprise software developers. The investment will support ActiveState's growth as demand for secure open-source supply chain management and developer tooling increases; Peter Lee will chair ActiveState's board.
