LJP Waste Solutions Acquires United Liquid Waste Recycling (ULWR)

LJP Waste Solutions has announced its acquisition of United Liquid Waste Recycling and related businesses (United Grease, United Logistics, and United Septic and Drain), collectively ULWR. The deal is intended to expand LJP’s capabilities and grow its geographic footprint, particularly to support expansion in the Wisconsin and Illinois markets. ULWR founders Robert Tracy Jr. and Jason Tracy will continue to run the ULWR business post-acquisition.

VLS Environmental Solutions Acquires IDR Environmental Services

VLS Environmental Solutions, a Houston-based platform backed by I Squared Capital, has acquired Texas Molecular, a Deer Park- and Corpus Christi-based provider of hazardous and non-hazardous liquid industrial waste handling, treatment and sequestration. The acquisition expands VLS's capabilities into hazardous waste processing and sequestration; Texas Molecular manages over 75 million gallons annually and the combined platform now has more than 1,000 employees and 38 locations across North America.

I Squared Capital Acquires VLS Environmental Solutions From Aurora Capital Partners

I Squared Capital, via its ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, signed a definitive agreement to acquire VLS Environmental Solutions from Aurora Capital Partners. The deal was expected to close in Q3 2022 and the transaction has been reported as closed as of August 18, 2022. VLS provides ESG-focused waste management and specialty cleaning and repair services for regulated industries across North America.
