Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory has acquired Della AI Ltd., a London- and Paris-based provider of AI technology for contract review using advanced natural language processing. Della AI will join Wolters Kluwer's Legal Software unit to enhance products such as Legisway and Kleos; the start-up was founded in 2018 and employs around 16 professionals.

Tideshift Capital Group Acquires Libera, Inc.

Boston-based private investment firm Tideshift Capital Group has acquired Libera, Inc., a Jamestown-based provider of AI-driven case management SaaS for vocational rehabilitation and government agencies. Tideshift said the acquisition will accelerate Libera’s product innovation — including AI, event-sourcing data architecture, and analytics — and support expansion into adjacent public and private markets; financial terms were not disclosed.

Litera Acquires Kira Systems

Litera has agreed to acquire Kira Systems, a Toronto-based leader in machine learning contract analysis, to strengthen its Transaction Management platform and expand due diligence workflows. As part of the deal, Kira majority investor Insight Partners will become a minority investor in Litera while Hg remains Litera's majority investor; Kira's AI research team will spin out as a new company, Zuva.
