WSP Global Completes Acquisition of TRC Companies

WSP Global Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of TRC Companies, a U.S. engineering and consulting firm focused on power and energy solutions, for an all-cash deal valued at about US$3.3 billion (reported as ~US$4.5 billion in some coverage). The acquisition adds roughly 8,000 TRC professionals and expands WSP’s Power & Energy platform across the full infrastructure lifecycle, including engineering, advisory, program management, water, environment, and digital solutions.
