M2S Group Acquires Iconex Labels Business

M2S Group, a Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company, has acquired the label solutions business (Iconex Labels) from Iconex, an Atlas Holdings portfolio company. The add-on expands M2S Group's portfolio of high-performance variable print and eco-friendly label solutions and brings Iconex Labels' customers and coworkers into the M2S platform; terms were not disclosed.

Iconex LLC, a portfolio company of Atlas Holdings LLC, has acquired RiteMade Paper Converters, Inc., a paper converting manufacturer headquartered in Kansas City, Kansas. Dinan Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to RiteMade, which was 100% ESOP owned and operates three manufacturing facilities in Kansas City (KS), Ashland (VA) and Reno (NV).

Iconex Acquires Graphic Controls' Point-of-Sale Rolls Division

Iconex has acquired the Point-of-Sale Rolls division from Graphic Controls Transactional Media (a subsidiary of Nissha Co. Ltd.), purchasing the division's equipment and customer base. No employees were included in the transaction; equipment will be moved to Iconex's Morristown, Tennessee facility as Iconex expands its legacy paper receipts and POS product offerings across retail, banking, kiosk, law enforcement and entertainment end markets.

Liberty Greenleaf Acquires Hamco Manufacturing

Liberty Paper Products Acquisition LLC (dba Liberty Greenleaf) announced on January 22, 2020 that it has acquired Hamco Manufacturing, LLC, a division of Tufco, LP. The deal brings Hamco’s point-of-sale paper roll and forms manufacturing into the Liberty Greenleaf platform to expand product capabilities and better serve a national customer base.

Iconex Acquires MAX International, MAXStick Products and Key Assets from McAuliffe Paper

Iconex acquired MAX International Converters, Inc., MAXStick Products Ltd. and key assets from McAuliffe Paper Inc., expanding its liner-free and high-performance label product portfolio. The deals (financial terms undisclosed) add MAXStick technology and McAuliffe's coating assets to Iconex's global label and receipt solutions platform to better serve retail, food service, warehousing and pharmaceutical customers.

Novolex Acquires Flexo Converters USA, Inc.

Novolex, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, has acquired Flexo Converters USA, Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of stock, custom and recycled paper bags and sacks headquartered in Meriden, Connecticut, with an additional plant in Monroe, Georgia. Flexo's products will be sold under the Novolex Duro Bag brand and the acquisition adds production capacity to support rising demand from foodservice and grocery customers; eligible full‑time Flexo employees will join Novolex.
