Healthcare Performance Group, Inc. (HPG) has acquired Health Data Specialists, LLC (HDS), a healthcare IT consulting firm with expertise in Epic, Siemens and Cerner that has served more than 300 hospitals and health systems. HDS’s project management, optimization, legacy system support and managed services will be integrated into HPG to expand its EHR-focused consulting capabilities and service offerings.

DSS, Inc. Acquires SBG Technology Solutions, Inc.

Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS, Inc.) has acquired Alexandria-based SBG Technology Solutions, Inc., which will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary to expand DSS's services capabilities for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense and other federal agencies. The acquisition (closed September 8, 2021) will bolster DSS's Health IT, national security, cybersecurity and AI/ML capabilities to support government and commercial clients; financial terms were not disclosed.

Dedalus Group Acquires DXC Technology's Healthcare Provider Software Business

DXC Technology completed the sale of its healthcare provider software business to the Dedalus Group (Ardian-backed), closing the transaction announced in July 2020. The divestiture strengthens Dedalus’ global clinical IT footprint in hospital information systems, integrated care and diagnostics while DXC received net proceeds of about $450 million.

DAS Health Acquires North American Digital Health Division from Canadian Provider

The division adds managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud hosting, integrations, and revenue cycle management services to DAS Health's offerings as an add-on to its existing platform.

Healthcare Components Group (RoundTable Portfolio) Acquires Endoscopy Development Company

RoundTable Healthcare Partners’ portfolio company Healthcare Components Group (HCG) has acquired Endoscopy Development Company (EDC), a Maryland Heights, Missouri-based manufacturer of replacement and repair parts for flexible endoscopes. The add-on deal (financed with incremental senior debt and an incremental equity injection from RoundTable’s Equity Fund V) expands HCG’s endoscopy component portfolio and brings EDC’s ~100 employees and global distribution into the HCG platform.

General Datatech Acquires MDS Global IT

General Datatech (GDT), a portfolio company of HIG Capital, has acquired MDS Global IT to expand GDT’s collaboration and contact center capabilities, including Cisco Unified Collaboration and Unified Contact Center Enterprise expertise. The acquisition adds MDS’s customers across healthcare, retail, banking, technology, and manufacturing to GDT’s client base and strengthens GDT’s global service delivery and scale. Kratos Capital acted as exclusive M&A advisor to MDS; the deal closed on September 24, 2024.
