Generation Growth Capital Acquires Killer Instinct

Generation Growth Capital, with an investment from Aldine Capital Partners and participation from former majority shareholder Tod Quiring, acquired Killer Instinct, a Frankenmuth, Michigan-based maker of crossbows and archery accessories. The private-equity backed deal will support Killer Instinct’s growth plans including product innovation, additional product lines and potential near‑term acquisitions.

Live Ventures Incorporated (Nasdaq: LIVE), through its subsidiary Precision Marshall, acquired all outstanding stock of The Kinetic Co., Inc., a 74-year-old industrial knife and wear-product manufacturer based in Greendale, Wisconsin, in a transaction valued at approximately $26 million. The deal was financed with a mix of third-party bank and seller debt, a sale-leaseback of real estate, and cash; Kinetic (≈100 employees) will operate as a standalone business and is expected to add roughly $20 million of annual revenue to Live Ventures' steel manufacturing segment.
