Technical Safety Services Acquires Precision Air Technology

Technical Safety Services (TSS), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), has acquired Precision Air Technology, Inc., a Morrisville, North Carolina provider of controlled-environment testing and certification services for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare settings. The deal expands TSS's geographic presence in the Research Triangle and is the sixth acquisition by TSS since being acquired by LLCP in 2022.

AGCO and Trimble Form PTx Trimble Joint Venture (AGCO 85% Stake)

AGCO Corporation and Trimble have closed a joint venture to form PTx Trimble, combining Trimble's precision agriculture business with AGCO's JCA Technologies. AGCO acquired an 85% stake (Trimble holds 15%), will consolidate the JV into its financials, and expects the combined precision ag revenue to exceed $2.0 billion by 2028.

Precision Cutting Technologies (Alleghany Capital) Acquires Supermill LLC

Spectra Medical Devices Acquires XL Precision Technologies

Spectra Medical Devices, a portfolio company of QHP Capital, has closed its acquisition of XL Precision Technologies Ltd., a Stockton‑on‑Tees based CDMO that manufactures precision micro-components, complex tubular components, and sub‑assemblies for the medical device industry. Rubicon Partners Industries, which acquired XL‑PT in 2008, was the seller; the deal expands Spectra's development and precision‑manufacturing capabilities to better serve medical device OEMs.
