Standex International Corporation acquired Minntronix, a South Dakota-based designer and manufacturer of magnetic components, for approximately $30 million in cash. Standex said the acquisition expands its presence in fast-growing end markets such as 5G, smart grid, and industrial automation and is expected to be accretive in the first year.

Enjet Aero Acquires Enginetics Business from Standex International

Kansas City-based Enjet Aero has acquired Enginetics, a Dayton, Ohio precision components manufacturer, from Standex International Corporation. The acquisition adds Enginetics' metal forming, brazing, heat-treating and laser-drilling capabilities to Enjet's portfolio, expanding its engine-component manufacturing capabilities and customer reach in commercial and military aerospace.

Standex International Acquires Amran Instrument Transformers and Narayan Powertech for $462M

Standex International Corporation (NYSE: SXI) has acquired US-based Amran Instrument Transformers and India-based Narayan Powertech Pvt. Ltd. in two simultaneous transactions valued at a combined enterprise value of approximately $462 million in cash and stock. The acquisitions expand and diversify Standex Electronics' product portfolio in instrument transformers and related electrical grid components; the founders and leadership of the Amran/Narayan Group will remain involved to support integration and growth.

Standex International Acquires McStarlite Co.

McStarlite will be reported in Standex's Engineering Technologies Group and the acquisition is intended to expand Standex's forming capabilities and provide cross-selling and technical-exchange opportunities with its Spincraft business.

Standex Acquires Custom Biogenic Systems from BioLife Solutions

Standex International has acquired Custom Biogenic Systems (CBS), a Michigan-based maker of cryogenic and controlled-rate freezers, from BioLife Solutions for approximately $6.1–$6.2 million in cash. The business will be reported in Standex's Scientific segment and is expected to be accretive in year one, expanding Standex's scientific refrigeration capabilities and North American manufacturing footprint.

Affiliates of private equity firms Sun European Partners and Sun Capital Partners have acquired a controlling stake in TENAX, the Verona-based manufacturer of chemical products, abrasives and tooling for the treatment of natural and engineered stone. The Bombana family sold the controlling interest while reinvesting part of proceeds and awarding an extraordinary bonus to the company's 220+ employees; the PE buyers intend to support TENAX's growth via buy-and-build strategies and geographic expansion.
