Hospeco Brands Group Acquires Monarch Brands

Hospeco Brands Group has merged with Monarch Brands, bringing the Philadelphia-based manufacturer and wholesaler of microfiber, commercial laundry linen, institutional textiles, and wiping products into the Hospeco portfolio. The transaction expands Hospeco's wiping and microfiber product offering and creates cross-selling opportunities across both companies' channels while retaining Monarch's key management and sales staff.

Alora Pharmaceuticals Subsidiary Sovereign Acquires Monarch PCM Manufacturing Assets

Alora Pharmaceuticals' wholly owned subsidiary, Sovereign Pharmaceuticals, acquired substantially all manufacturing capabilities of Monarch PCM, LLC in Fort Worth, Texas through bankruptcy proceedings, closing on January 4, 2022. The deal adds 60,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and approximately 48 employees, expanding Sovereign's solid, semi-solid and liquid pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity.

Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG Acquires Mikrona Group AG

Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG (managed by Winterberg Advisory) has acquired Mikrona Group AG, including its Ortho Walker business unit, expanding the platform's orthodontic and dental product distribution and services in Switzerland. The founders/previous owners will retain minority stakes and Mikrona's CEO Fabio Fagagnini will remain in place as the company integrates into Healthcare Holding's medtech distribution platform.

The partnership establishes Monarch House as an independent, Canadian-owned company with plans to expand its network through new site development and selective acquisitions to serve more families nationwide.
