AIC—specializing in construction and engineering insurance and with intermediated premiums growing from €8m in 2019 to an expected ~€40m in 2024—will join Wide Group with senior AIC leadership joining as partners while founder Alessandro D'Ilario remains involved.

The investment will provide growth capital to accelerate M&A and organic expansion, support further development of Assessio's proprietary technology, and help build a pan‑European talent management business while keeping the current management team in place.
