Perwyn Acquires Majority Stake in JT IoT

Perwyn has acquired a majority stake in JT's Internet of Things (IoT) division, a Jersey-headquartered connectivity business that manages nearly 10 million SIMs and is supported by a team of about 70 people. JT will retain a minority stake; Perwyn said the acquisition complements its focus on technology-enabled services and will be used to accelerate the IoT business's global growth.

Perwyn has acquired LDC's stake in Newcastle-headquartered iamproperty, with co-founders Ben Ridgway and Jamie Cooke and the management team retaining a majority shareholding. iamproperty, a provider of SaaS technology solutions to UK estate agents (including the 'movebutler' conveyancing/onboarding platform), has grown rapidly under LDC's minority investment since 2019 — now employing over 530 people and expecting c. £76m revenue for the year ending October 2023.
