Houston-based wealth advisor Americana Partners has acquired Nashville-based SEC-registered investment advisory firm Goodpasture Gray, bringing more than $300 million in client assets into Americana and establishing a Nashville presence. The deal expands Americana’s national footprint and adds a specialized practice focused on high-net-worth clients, including athletes and entertainers; Dynasty Investment Bank served as exclusive financial advisor to Goodpasture Gray.

Thompson Distribution of Nashville, Tennessee has acquired Landmark Trucks, a Knoxville-based authorized International truck dealership with locations in Knoxville, Morristown, and Cookeville. The acquisition expands Thompson's portfolio of dealership and distribution businesses, adding sales, leasing/rental and a service capability that complements existing premium brands represented by Thompson companies.

JM Family Enterprises Acquires National Truck Protection from Kinderhook Industries

NTP, headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a leading administrator of vehicle service contracts for used commercial vehicles and will become a division of JM&A Group to expand JM Family's F&I and protection product offerings.

Reading Truck Group Acquires General Truck Body (General Body Manufacturing Company)

Poindexter & Co., has acquired General Body Manufacturing Company (d/b/a General Truck Body), a family-owned manufacturer and upfitter of work truck bodies headquartered in Houston, Texas. The acquisition adds GTB’s three Texas locations and one in Kentucky to Reading Truck’s network, increasing Reading Truck locations to 28 and expanding its presence in the south-central United States while broadening its commercial truck and van pools for major OEMs.

Fastfrate Group Acquires Majority Stake in Challenger Group

The Salt Lake City business adds same-day and first-open-of-business next-day shipping capability and a dealership sales channel to APG's aftermarket distribution and will operate out of APG's Salt Lake City location; co-owner Royal Coburn joined APG to lead expedited shipping and dealership initiatives.
