ASG, a portfolio company backed by Alpine Investors, has acquired hotel operations management platform ALICE from Expedia Group in a carve-out transaction. Headquartered in New York, ALICE is a vertical hospitality SaaS used by thousands of hotels and will join ASG's Hospitality Technology vertical as an add-on to expand its capabilities in hotel operations software.

ASG (Alpine Investors) Acquires MediMatrix (formerly WebInterstate)

ASG, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors that builds vertical SaaS businesses, has acquired MediMatrix (formerly WebInterstate), a Minneapolis-based mobile healthcare software provider that streamlines order management, image sharing and billing for mobile radiology services. The deal (closed June 9, 2021) will keep founder Ken Kern active as CTO and install Marvel Myrtile as CEO; Generational Equity advised the seller. ASG said the acquisition expands its mission-critical healthcare software capabilities and supports continued organic growth and further acquisitions.

Alpine Software Group (ASG) Acquires ThinkLP

Alpine Software Group (ASG), a portfolio company of Alpine Investors, has acquired ThinkLP, a Waterloo, Ontario–headquartered provider of retail loss prevention and safety case management SaaS. The deal brings ThinkLP into ASG's vertical SaaS platform (ASG's 50th software acquisition); founder Doug Treleaven will transition out of day-to-day operations and Spencer Marzouk will become CEO.

The acquisition expands ASG's vertical SaaS footprint in transportation by adding Trucker Tools' predictive freight-matching, visibility and automated booking capabilities and customer base of brokers, 3PLs and owner-operators.
