DartPoints Acquires Immedion

DartPoints has signed definitive agreements to acquire Immedion, a Greenville, South Carolina-based provider of colocation, cloud and managed services operating eight data centers across seven markets. The acquisition—backed by Astra Capital Management and expected to close in Q2 2021—more than doubles DartPoints' edge colocation footprint and expands its interconnection capabilities into additional tier‑2 and tier‑3 U.S. markets.

NOVA Infrastructure Majority Investment in DartPoints

NOVA Infrastructure has completed a majority investment in DartPoints, providing a significant growth capital commitment to scale the company's data center platform and pursue capacity expansion and strategic M&A. Orion Infrastructure Capital joined as a lender and minority equity investor, while existing sponsor Astra Capital Management retains a meaningful minority stake; NOVA and OIC committed more than $250 million of capital and DartPoints acquired the underlying real estate for three of its facilities.

Astra Capital Management Acquires Majority Stake in DartPoints

As part of the transaction, telecommunications executive Scott Willis joined DartPoints as President & CEO and several Astra partners and industry executives joined the board to support growth.

DartPoints Acquires Venyu

DartPoints has acquired Venyu, adding three carrier‑neutral data centers in Baton Rouge and Shreveport and expanding its portfolio to 11 data centers across 10 U.S. markets. Lafayette Square provided financing to support the transaction; Venyu was previously owned by REV (its former parent company).

Netrality Data Centers Acquires Indy Telcom Center

Netrality Data Centers acquired Indy Telcom Center, a 205,000-square-foot carrier-hotel campus in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, expanding its footprint and interconnection/colocation capabilities across the U.S. Midwest. The existing management team will remain in place following the transaction.
