Pendo Acquires Zelta AI to Accelerate AI-Powered Customer Intelligence

Pendo, the product experience platform, has acquired New York City–based startup Zelta AI and will integrate the team and technology into its Pendo Listen product to provide AI-driven insights from customer feedback across 150+ sources. The deal strengthens Pendo's AI capabilities for product discovery and feedback analysis, and the Zelta team will help establish an AI center of excellence in Pendo's New York office.

The roughly 20-person Mind the Product team (and its subscription base of 3,000+ members, ProductTank meetups, conferences and community assets) will join Pendo to expand the company's content, training and events capabilities and complement Pendo’s product experience platform.

Pendo Acquires Forwrd.ai to Power Pendo Predict

Pendo has acquired Israel-based Forwrd.ai, a no-code predictive analytics platform, to incorporate its automated AI models into a new feature suite called Pendo Predict. The acquisition brings predictive capabilities for churn modeling, lead scoring, and expansion opportunity detection into Pendo's software experience management platform, and Forwrd's founder and team will join Pendo's Israel office.

Mettler-Toledo Acquires PendoTECH

Mettler-Toledo International Inc. completed the acquisition of PendoTECH, a Princeton, New Jersey–based maker of single-use sensors, transmitters, control systems and software for bioprocess measurement and monitoring. The transaction includes $185 million initial consideration plus up to $20 million in contingent payments and is intended to expand Mettler-Toledo's process-analytics and sensor offerings for the bioprocessing market and enable cross-selling and broader global reach.

Pender & Acorn Acquire Four Software Companies from Pluribus Technologies

Pender Growth Fund Inc., together with Acorn Partners Inc., completed the acquisition of four technology subsidiaries from Pluribus Technologies for aggregate cash consideration of C$17.0 million. The businesses — POWR Inc., Rowanwood Professional Services Ltd., Cranham Haig Ltd. (CHL Software / DocMoto) and Assured Software Ltd. — will be held under a newly formed, majority-owned holding company, Pender Software Holdings Ltd., and continue to be led by their existing management teams.
