Modera Wealth Management has acquired the Parsec Financial team, bringing Parsec's Asheville-based advisory practice into Modera and creating a combined firm with over $10.5 billion AUM and more than 180 employees across 14 East Coast offices. The transaction was completed with backing from Modera's existing minority equity partner, TRIA Capital Partners; Parsec leadership will take senior roles within Modera.

Parsec Capital Acquisitions Corp., a Nasdaq-listed special purpose acquisition company, executed a merger agreement with Calgary-based Enteractive Media Inc., a provider of gambling-themed broadcast and streaming content (including its PlayerVision subsidiary). The business combination is intended to take Enteractive public on Nasdaq, providing the company with access to capital to support growth and expansion, subject to customary approvals and closing conditions.

Universal Logistics Holdings Acquires Parsec Rail Terminal Operator

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. acquired Parsec (including Parsec Intermodal of Canada ULC and OB Leasing, LLC) for $193.6 million. Parsec is a Cincinnati-based provider of rail terminal management, drayage and intermodal services with ~2,100 employees and $230.2 million of trailing-twelve-month revenue; the business will operate within Universal's contract logistics segment to expand its rail terminal capabilities and is expected to be immediately accretive.

Paragon Group Acquires Parseq Limited

The deal (which includes 354 employees globally) is intended to expand Paragon's UK footprint, accelerate innovation by integrating Parseq's robotic process automation and machine learning capabilities, and secure intellectual property for financial services clients.

Saalex Information Technology Acquires Arctic MSP

The deal expands SaalexIT's managed security/service footprint in the Western U.S. and brings additional cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance capabilities while Arctic MSP will continue operating from its Eugene headquarters as a DBA SaalexIT company.

Paragon Group Acquires Parseq from Parabellum Investments
