Routeware Acquires RouteOptix Management Systems

Routeware, a Portland, Oregon-based provider of fleet automation and analytics for the waste industry, has acquired Ontario-based RouteOptix Management Systems, a developer of customer management, routing and billing software. The deal gives Routeware a Canadian operation and expands its product capabilities and experience into additional waste segments including liquid, hazardous and medical waste, as well as document destruction and scrap metal.

Routeware Global Acquires Core Computing Solutions (CCS)

Routeware Global, a provider of smart-city fleet automation solutions, has acquired Core Computing Solutions (CCS), a Jacksonville-based provider of billing and route management systems for waste and recycling companies. CCS will operate as a semi-autonomous business under Routeware Global, with Nate Piersall named President of CCS and Tom Malone remaining CEO of Routeware Global, expanding Routeware's end-to-end offering for municipal and private waste fleet operations.

Routeware Acquires Wastech (RUBICONSmartCity & RUBICONPro)

The deal adds municipal and private-hauler-focused route optimization and fleet-management capabilities to Routeware's Elements product suite, strengthening its position in waste-collection software and services.

RapidWorks Acquires CRO Software to Expand into Waste Management

RapidWorks, a Boston-based provider of software for heavy equipment service providers, has acquired CRO Software, a Calgary-based cloud dispatch and operations management software company serving the waste management and recycling industries. The deal expands RapidWorks' vertical coverage into waste and recycling while providing CRO with capital, product and go-to-market resources; Wavecrest Growth Partners and MassMutual Ventures increased their investment in RapidWorks to support the expansion.

Routeware Acquires EasyRoute and Webaspx

Reworld Acquires EnviroVac Waste Transport Systems

Reworld (formerly Covanta), a Morristown, New Jersey-based sustainable waste solutions provider, has acquired EnviroVac Waste Transport Systems, an Illinois-based hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation company with operations in Jacksonville, Illinois and Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The purchase adds a fleet of over 25 drivers and nearly 100 specialized transport assets, expanding Reworld's regional footprint and enhancing its ReDirect360 and ReMove waste logistics and processing capabilities.
