Nylacast, the Equistone-backed precision polymer manufacturer, has acquired Viva Nylons, a Leicester-based maker of cast nylon semi-finished products. The acquisition is an add-on to Nylacast’s growth strategy to expand capacity and broaden engineered polymer capabilities for customers across construction, transport, pharmaceuticals, defence, marine and energy markets.

Crane Company Acquires Vian Enterprises, Inc.

Crane Company has acquired Vian Enterprises, Inc. for approximately $103 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis. Vian, a designer and manufacturer of multi-stage lubrication pumps and lubrication system components for aerospace and defense, reported trailing 12-month sales of about $33 million and adjusted EBITDA of approximately $8 million; Crane said the acquisition expands its Aerospace & Electronics fluid solution capabilities and is expected to be immediately accretive to segment margins.
