CACI International acquired Ashburn, Virginia–based ID Technologies, a mid-tier provider of enterprise IT, CSfC-compliant cybersecurity products, and managed services to U.S. federal customers. The acquisition, which closed on December 29, 2021 for $225 million, expands CACI's secure network modernization, remote-access, and cloud/IaaS capabilities for defense, intelligence, and federal civilian markets.

Frontgrade Technologies Acquires Aethercomm

Frontgrade Technologies, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital, has completed the acquisition of Aethercomm, a designer and manufacturer of high-power RF solid state power amplifiers and RF switches. Aethercomm will operate as a division rebranded Frontgrade Aethercomm, with founder Todd Thornton and the management team remaining and Thornton serving as General Manager; the deal expands Frontgrade's RF and antenna capabilities for aerospace and defense customers.

Irys Acquires Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI)

San Antonio-based tech startup Irys has acquired Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI), a longtime defense contractor now operating as a DTSI business unit of Irys. The all-cash deal preserves DTSI's name, its existing defense-sector contracts and roughly 60 employees, and gives Irys immediate past performance and capabilities to expand into government and DoD contracting.

Arlington Capital Partners Acquires Integrated Data Services

Arlington Capital Partners, a Washington, DC-based private equity firm, has acquired Integrated Data Services (IDS), a federal software provider headquartered in El Segundo, California. IDS co-founders Jerome Murray and James Truhe retained a minority stake; IDS employs over 275 people and provides the CCaR program portfolio management software to Department of Defense and civilian federal customers.

Fortis Fire & Safety Acquires Integrated Fire and Security Solutions and Diversified Systems Inc.
