Engineering Services Acquisitions in Connecticut

SLR Consulting has acquired A. DiCesare Associates, P.C. (ADA), a Connecticut-based engineering firm specializing in highway and railroad bridge inspection, bridge design and underwater inspection services. The deal strengthens SLR’s transportation engineering and inspection capabilities and deepens its client relationships with state transportation agencies and rail clients across the U.S. Northeast.

Trinity Consultants has acquired Jaffe Holden, a Connecticut-based architectural acoustics, audio and video design consultancy, to strengthen Trinity's built environment capabilities. Jaffe Holden will operate within Trinity's built environment business alongside Cerami, Valcoustics and Longman Lindsey, with the Jaffe Holden leadership team remaining in senior roles.

Warburg Pincus has made a significant growth investment in TRC Companies to support the firm's continued expansion of environmentally focused, technology-enabled engineering, consulting and construction services. New Mountain Capital exited its investment as part of the transaction; proceeds will be used to scale TRC's compliance-focused engineering capabilities and further its work in decarbonization and utility-focused services.

Convergint Technologies has closed the acquisition of Custom Vault Corporation, including its BranchServ division, bringing more than 250 colleagues onto Convergint’s global platform. The deal expands Convergint’s vault manufacturing and branch-security/service capabilities and strengthens its presence and service offering for financial institutions across the United States.

DGT Associates, a New England surveying and engineering firm based in Boston, has acquired Mattern & Stefon Land Surveyors, adding a fourth office in Preston, Connecticut. The transaction expands DGT's geographic footprint into Connecticut and brings experienced survey staff and additional capabilities (3D laser scanning, subsurface utility mapping) to serve municipal, development, energy and construction clients across the region.

CHA Consulting, Inc. has acquired CME Associates, Inc., a Mansfield, Connecticut-based transportation engineering firm with expertise in accelerated bridge construction. The acquisition expands CHA’s transportation capabilities and presence in the Northeast while integrating CME’s 85 employees and five offices into CHA’s platform.
