Mosaic, through its Living Innovations service, has acquired Momentum, a Maine behavioral health provider that delivers shared living and community-based services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The deal brings Momentum into the Living Innovations/Mosaic network, expanding service reach across Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut and aiming to provide greater long-term stability and resources for Momentum's programs and workforce.
Destination Pet, a national pet-resort and veterinary platform, has acquired Roscoe's Bed + Bark, a Portland, Maine-based dog daycare, boarding and grooming operator. Madison Street Capital advised Roscoe's Bed + Bark on the undisclosed transaction as Roscoe's joins Destination Pet's nationwide network to expand its pet care footprint.
Covetrus entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by funds affiliated with Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) and TPG Capital for $21.00 per share in cash, implying an enterprise value of approximately $4 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2022, subject to regulatory approvals and Covetrus shareholder approval, after which Covetrus will become a private company.

The deal is expected to close in the third quarter, subject to customary closing conditions, and will be integrated with Covetrus’ practice management and prescription management software.
Covenant Health has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bangor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, bringing the independent not-for-profit facility into Covenant's regional Catholic health system. The deal—pending approval from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services—will make Bangor Nursing a sponsored member of Covenant Health while maintaining its not-for-profit status and community-led board guidance.
BayMark Health Services has acquired Liberty Bay Recovery Center, a residential substance use disorder treatment facility in Portland, Maine, marking BayMark's first U.S.-based residential treatment center.
