Renovus Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Angeion Group, a Philadelphia-based provider of class action notice and claims administration services. Angeion's founder Steven Weisbrot and senior management retain significant ownership and will partner with Renovus to scale the business, invest in its proprietary technology, expand its US leadership and develop international operations.

Lexitas, a portfolio company of funds advised by Apax, has acquired Medical Legal Reproductions, Inc. (MLR), a Philadelphia-based record retrieval and litigation support provider. The purchase expands Lexitas’s record retrieval footprint and capabilities for law firms, insurance companies, and corporate legal departments.

Registered Agent Solutions, Inc. (RASi), a Lexitas company, has acquired Harrisburg, Pennsylvania–based Esquire Assist, Ltd. and AAAgent Services, LLC. The acquisition expands RASi’s registered agent, UCC/lien search and corporate filing capabilities and continues a long-standing partnership between the firms.

Brouse McDowell announced that the lawyers of Ekker, Kuster, McCall and Epstein (EKME) will join Brouse McDowell effective January 1, 2023, adding eight attorneys and expanding the combined firm to nearly 90 attorneys across six offices. The combination expands Brouse McDowell's geographic footprint into western Pennsylvania and broadens its capabilities across practice areas including corporate transactions, commercial litigation, estate planning, and cybersecurity.

U.S. Legal Support Inc. has completed the acquisition of Summit Court Reporting, a certified woman-owned court reporting and videography firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The deal expands U.S. Legal Support's court reporting coverage and capabilities across the northeastern United States and integrates Summit's local services into U.S. Legal Support's nationwide litigation support platform.

Lexitas, a technology-enabled legal support services platform and portfolio company of funds advised by Apax, has acquired Strehlow Court Reporting, a Newtown, Pennsylvania-based provider of court reporting and legal video services. The add-on expands Lexitas’ Court Reporting Division and strengthens its presence in the greater Philadelphia market.
