Manufacturing Acquisitions in Nebraska

Threaded Fasteners Inc. (TFI), an employee-owned fastener distributor and manufacturer headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, acquired TSA Manufacturing Inc., a fastener manufacturer based in Omaha, Nebraska. The acquisition, which closed January 5, 2026, brings manufacturing capabilities in-house to strengthen TFI's vertical integration, improve supply chain control and expand service to steel fabrication, metal building construction and commercial manufacturing customers.

SRM Equity Partners has made a strategic investment in Stone Enterprises, a precision manufacturer of aftermarket parts and equipment for the food processing industry, with founder Tracy Stone retaining a meaningful equity stake and remaining as CEO. The partnership will provide operational resources and capital to scale the business, expand solutions, invest in technology, and pursue strategic acquisitions across North America.

Wipro Hydraulics, the hydraulics business of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (part of Wipro Enterprises), has acquired Columbus Hydraulics, a US-based hydraulic cylinder manufacturer founded in 1952. The deal strengthens Wipro's manufacturing capabilities and presence in North America and expands its product and customer portfolio across agriculture, construction, turf maintenance and marine end markets.

Coda Resources, Ltd. has acquired Design Plastics Inc., a manufacturer of injection-molded and vacuum-formed plastic parts that serves the off-road automotive parts market. Woodbridge International announced the sale and acted as the sell-side advisor; the deal expands Coda's contract manufacturing and integrated supply-chain capabilities.

Minneapolis-based private equity firm ShoreView has acquired Garner Industries, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based manufacturer of level measurement sensors that markets under the BinMaster brand. The deal provides an exit for majority owner Phil Mullin and establishes Garner as a platform for ShoreView's test-and-measurement investment strategy, with plans to pursue add-on acquisitions and new product development.

Unverferth Manufacturing Co., Inc. has purchased Orthman Manufacturing’s agricultural product lineup and two Lexington, Nebraska manufacturing locations. John McCoy, the preceding owner and company president, will retain ownership of Orthman Conveying Systems while manufacturing and support personnel are being offered employment with Unverferth.

IDEX Corporation has acquired KZValve, a Greenwood, Nebraska–based manufacturer of waterproof motorized valves, manifolds, controllers and related precision farming components. KZValve will join IDEX's Agriculture group within the Fluid & Metering Technologies segment, complementing Banjo Corporation and expanding IDEX's agricultural and industrial fluid-management product portfolio.

Battery Ventures, a technology-focused investment firm, has acquired LI-COR Biosciences, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based maker of analytical and environmental-monitoring instruments and life-science imaging systems. The deal will see LI-COR's CEO Greg Biggs transition to an advisory role while Battery places Thomas Reslewic as CEO and aims to grow LI-COR organically and via targeted acquisitions.

Van Becelaere Machine Works, a portfolio company of Midwest Growth Partners, completed an add-on acquisition of Superior Metal Products, Inc., a precision machining business based in Omaha, Nebraska. The deal expands Van Becelaere's precision machining platform—broadening capabilities, capacity and Midwest presence—while SMP's owners remain invested and will continue to lead operations.

Astec Industries (Nasdaq:ASTE) has acquired CON-E-CO, a concrete equipment manufacturer and former subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation. CON-E-CO, headquartered in Blair, Nebraska, manufactures portable and stationary concrete batch plants, mixers and related systems; terms were not disclosed and Oshkosh was advised by Balmoral Advisors.
