Professional Services Acquisitions in Indiana

Gryphon Investors has acquired Safety Management Group (SMG) from NMS Capital; financial terms were not disclosed. SMG, headquartered in Indianapolis, will serve as a new platform for Gryphon to pursue organic growth and add-on M&A in outsourced Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) services while SMG's management team remains in place with a meaningful ownership stake.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Vermillion Systems, a Walkerton, Indiana-based security systems integrator, expanding Pye-Barker's life-safety and security services into Central Indiana. Vermillion Systems will continue to be led locally while gaining additional resources from Pye-Barker to accelerate growth and broaden service capabilities across the Midwest.

Movate, a digital technology and customer experience services provider, has acquired TSD Global, an international provider of outsourced sales and customer experience (CX) services. The deal expands Movate's geographic footprint (notably in the Philippines and South Africa) and strengthens its outbound sales and CX capabilities through TSD Global's client base and delivery centers.

Crane Group, a family-owned investment and management company, has acquired the L.M.L. Estate Management portfolio from Corbel Capital Partners and renamed the business Fairwood Brands. The Fort Wayne, Indiana-based portfolio provides high-end landscape design, installation and maintenance services; Corbel had invested in January 2022 and supported multiple add-on acquisitions that expanded the company's geographic reach prior to the exit.

The Riverside Company has invested in Ace Fire Protection, marking the 20th add-on to its portfolio company CertaSite. The acquisition expands CertaSite's fire and life-safety footprint in the greater Lafayette, Indiana region and strengthens its service offering across the Midwest.

Neighborly, the Waco, Texas–based global home services franchisor, has acquired Lawn Pride, a lawn care company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. The acquisition adds Lawn Pride to Neighborly's portfolio of brands and will enable Neighborly to begin franchising the Lawn Pride brand nationally in 2023.

SOLV Holdings, an affiliate of Ambassador Enterprises, has acquired Custom Sound Designs (CSD), a U.S.-based audio, visual, lighting, and acoustic design and integration firm headquartered in New Haven, Indiana. The deal keeps CSD leadership in place and is positioned as a strategic fit to support the company’s growth and legacy while providing operational and financial resources for expansion.
