Hueman People Solutions has acquired Empower Partnerships, an RPO and HR consulting firm founded by MaryAnne Garcia, to expand Hueman's commercial RPO capabilities and launch a new Hueman RPO Commercial division. Empower will continue to be led by its existing leadership team as it integrates with Hueman, increasing Hueman's capacity to serve high-volume hiring needs across logistics, transportation, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

OneDigital has acquired Creative Business Resources (CBR), an HR outsourcing and PEO provider based in Phoenix, Arizona. The transaction brings more than 40 CBR employees into OneDigital, expands OneDigital Resourcing Edge's PEO capabilities in the western U.S., and integrates CBR founder Michael Tope into OneDigital's management as West Region Vice President.

Talent Groups, a Houston-based IT staffing platform backed by Osceola Capital, has acquired Phoenix-based Progilisys Solutions, an IT staffing and managed solutions provider. The add-on expands Talent Groups' national footprint and strengthens its capabilities in systems assessment, architecture, application management and managed IT services.

PeopleWorks Holdings, a holding company formed by Housatonic Partners in partnership with CEO Dan Filby, acquired Accusource Inc. and PeopleG2 Corporation in late 2021 and combined them under Accusource. The transactions expand PeopleWorks' capabilities in pre-employment screening, including background checks, drug & alcohol testing, and employment verification across healthcare, government and staffing verticals; financial terms were not disclosed.

iHire has finalized its acquisition of WorkInSports, bringing the Phoenix-based sports industry job board into iHire’s family of 57 industry-focused talent networks. The acquisition integrates WorkInSports’ employer base and job-posting capabilities into iHire’s recruitment platform; users should see no disruption as platform integration completes.

ettain group, a portfolio company of Alvarez & Marsal Capital, has acquired INT Technologies, a veteran-owned technology staffing and consulting firm headquartered in Mesa, Arizona. The acquisition expands ettain group's geographic footprint and strengthens its strategic accounts and technology staffing capabilities.

NSC Technologies has acquired Tucson- and Phoenix-based staffing firm Staff Matters, Inc. The add-on expands NSC's presence in the Western U.S., particularly Arizona, and brings Staff Matters' technical, professional and light-industrial staffing capabilities to NSC's platform (which is PE-backed by White Wolf Capital).

Questco has acquired National Payroll Specialists (NPS), a Phoenix-area provider of outsourced HR and payroll services for small- and medium-sized businesses. The deal is Questco’s second add-on in the PEO space and expands the company’s presence into Arizona while diversifying its work-site employee base and accelerating NPS’s growth through Questco’s technology and resources.

Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty, Inc. has acquired Xponent Employer Solutions, a Scottsdale-based provider of payroll, employee benefits, insurance services and HR management. The acquisition expands Seeman Holtz’s geographic footprint into Arizona and adds HR/payroll capabilities to its family of companies.
