Vero Fiber Networks (Vero) finalized its acquisition of Velocity Fiber, a fiber provider focused exclusively on the K-12 E-Rate market. The deal is intended to expand Vero’s K-12 network and customer base by integrating Velocity Fiber’s compatible private fiber networks into Vero’s infrastructure without service disruption.
Shape Technologies Group announced the expansion of KMT Group to include Shape Waterblast Group (SWG) and its flagship brand Advanced Pressure Systems (APS), along with related SWG brands Aqua-Dyne and Riverstone Pressure Systems. The expanded organization is positioned as a broad ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) portfolio spanning waterjet cutting, LDPE high-pressure systems, industrial waterblasting, and surface preparation.
LEHR Upfitters Holdings LLC, a portfolio company of Broadwing Capital Management, acquired 911 Custom LLC. Oaklyn Consulting served as exclusive financial advisor to 911 Custom; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Keystone, an insurance broker based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, has acquired Titan Risk Solutions, a trucking insurance broker headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. Titan will lead Keystone’s newly established Trucking Vertical and later rebrand as Keystone Trucking Solutions, with day-to-day operations continuing without disruption to clients or carrier partners.
Centurion Group (Centurion) has acquired Trand Inc., a family-owned provider of complex lifting operations for the onshore wind industry, to advance Centurion’s expansion into the US onshore wind sector. The deal strengthens Centurion’s existing US lifting services and adds specialist heavy-lift capabilities, complementing its Minnesota-based Althoff Crane Service operations for growth across the Mid-West.
Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Insurance Resources Group, Inc., an independent general insurance agency based in Olathe, Kansas. The deal expands Inszone’s presence in Kansas and brings Insurance Resources Group’s team and client base into the Inszone organization.

Banyan Software has acquired WMVision, a Kansas-based provider of integrated camera infrastructure and cloud-based video management software for broadcasters and tourism organizations. WMVision’s WxVision and FlexChannel platforms support real-time content capture, live streaming, and multi-location video sharing across North America.
Wilkerson Crane Rental, a Bonner Springs, Kansas-based provider of crane rental, rigging, and heavy lifting solutions, announced a strategic investment from NewMile Capital and Haywood Lane. The capital will support fleet and geographic expansion, enhanced service capabilities, and Wilkerson’s ongoing program of strategic acquisitions.

Wealth Enhancement announced it acquired an advisor team from TFB Advisors based in Overland Park, Kansas. The team—six advisors and four support staff, led by Josh Selzer and others—manages more than $1.2 billion in client assets and will operate as The Archer Team at Wealth Enhancement.
Epiphany Dermatology announced a partnership to add Resolute Dermatology, LLC — a two-location dermatology practice in the greater Kansas City area led by Dr. Daniel Christiansen — to its provider network. World Insurance Associates LLC acquired the business of Agency West Insurance of Olathe, Kansas on February 1, 2026. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Ecowaste Solutions acquired Howie's Enterprises, a Manhattan, Kansas-based waste services provider, in a transaction that closed January 30, 2026. The acquisition adds more than 30 employees, roughly 15,000 customers and nearly 20 daily routes to Ecowaste's regional operations, expanding its Kansas footprint while retaining Howie's local brand and team.
Humble Growth has acquired a minority growth-equity stake in simplyFUEL, the protein-snack brand founded by Mitzi Dulan. The partnership is intended to help simplyFUEL scale its brand and accelerate retail expansion (Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Target) with Humble Growth providing hands-on operating and brand-building support.
Merit Financial Advisors has acquired SSC Wealth LLC, the wealth management division of SSC CPAs + Advisors, adding approximately $259.6 million in AUM and transferring the advisory business, assets, and four employees to Merit. Eaton — founded in the early 1990s and operating multiple locations across Kansas — provides residential roofing, siding, windows & doors, and gutter services; financial terms were not disclosed.
TerraVest Industries has acquired KBK Industries, LLC, a Rush Center, Kansas-based manufacturer of large-volume aboveground and belowground fiberglass and steel tanks. The transaction enabled Main Street Capital Corporation to fully exit its debt and minority equity investments in KBK after a 20-year partnership; TerraVest said the acquisition expands its tank manufacturing capabilities and U.S. footprint.
Net at Work, a Lovell Minnick–backed managed services provider, has acquired Kansas-based Network Computer Solutions (NCS) to expand its Midwest footprint and strengthen its managed services capabilities. The deal also transfers NCS's Nterfuse software platform to Net at Work, preserving service continuity for Nterfuse customers while providing broader support and access to Net at Work's cybersecurity, cloud, ERP and national managed services infrastructure.
Spartan Aerospace Group, a vertically integrated aerospace manufacturing holding company backed by The Edgewater Funds, acquired B&B Airparts. The acquisition closed on January 5, 2026.
